Why can't I find Boot Camp 3.0 download?
Has anyone seen a download of Boot Camp 3.0? Not 2.2 or 3.1 just 3.0.
Thanks!

It is not downloadable, it's on your disc (and if you lost your disc you'll need to buy another)

Let's say this once again, and with luck you will understand this time:
As I said back in April, BootCamp 3.0 is not available for download. The only place it is available is with Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. You must have a copy of the Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard installation disk and install 10.6 on your system to obtain BootCamp 3.0. If you do not have the Snow Leopard installation disk, you will need to purchase one. Whatever you belive should the be the situation, there is no download.
You've now been given this information several times. I hope this now makes it clear.
Regards.
It would be nice if Boot Camp Assistant (maybe by the time it reaches 9.0) would download the drivers.
Apple seems oppossed to posting 3.0 or 4.0 or back in 2007 there was 2.0, online. The last time the initial driver package was online was beta back in 2007 with Boot Camp 1.x. Now it always comes from your OS X DVD.
There seems to be a broken feature in Boot Camp ever since 10.6.6 that ASKs if you want to download, but just hangs, does nothing, has never worked for anyone. Maybe they were getting ready for Lion when there is no DVD.
We like you but here to tell you what we know that works or not, that's all.
A spare DVD isn't all bad either.
I appreciate your frustration but without the CD you will not be able to obtain drivers for your Windows installation, we can go back and forth about how it 'should' be, but it is not.
You want a solution?
Find the CD that you lost, contact Apple for a replacement or buy a new one ($29)
The alternative is to continue to complain here, but that won't fix it.

I see. Applle sell new OS with new boot camp. actually I do not know the relation and technical restriction with Mac os and Boot camp. does it mean if my Mac os is older than Snow Lepard and Bootcamp 3.0 or greather will not work? or do I need to upgrade Mac os as well?
The Hatter gave you the correct answer (it was the first reply to your post), if your Mac came with 10.5 then you will need to upgrade to 10.6, the $29 disc will do that and as a bonus you will get BootCamp 3, then you can update to 3.2.
No, the difference between us, or you and anyone else here, is that we have been attempting to answer your question, whereas you seem to want to just argue with anyone who doesn't giveyou the answer you want to hear.
Again, and for the last time: there is no download for BootCamp 3.0. You MUST buy Snow Leopard.
I really don't care whether you like that, or what you think Apple should do. That's the way it is. If you want to complain to Apple about it, you can do so here:
Otherwise, please stop arguing with us. We've told you what you need to do to get BootCamp 3.x. None of us here work for Apple, so none of us can change anything. Arguing with everyone who answers your question is extremely rude and ungrateful on your part.
There is no need for you to reply. I have no further interest in talking to you.
BootCamp 3.0 is part of the Snow Leopard installation disk and is not available separately.
You can't download it, you will have to find your disk or contact Apple for a replacement or follow the Hatters advice and buy a retail disk, there is no other way that I know of, sorry.
Nevermind everyone, I was able to install 3.0 using The Hatter's advice at:
https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2625839?start=0&tstart=0
To clarify, I simply copied and pasted the contents of my Snow Leopard Install DVD onto my Windows desktop (The Hatter didn't say where to put it) - not sure if that was the correct thing to do but it all worked in the end?!
Secondly, for the amateurs like myself out there 😉, if you're having trouble right-clicking in windows (usually ctrl + click on macs), you can select Bootcamp64, press option to get the File menu and select "Troubleshoot compatibility".
I know you posted it 2 years ago, but thanks Hatter!

Btw. I did not get my answer, hatter jsut say buy CD.
Buy the cd is the correct answer
You can, or you can just put the disc in the drive while booted to windows and let setup do it's job.
Here is the bootcamp 3.0 32/64 bit for download!!!
cheers,
I keep everything in folders and on DMG. I have Windows drive with any installers and updates.
I copied the Windows Boot Camp volume to a folder (950MB I think for Boot Camp 3.0) so I would have it, and have it backed up.
Laptops I can see not having huge multiple hard drives and limited smaller drives and drive space.
No PC vendor would ever do it this way. They include a CD like Apple with any new motherboard with Windows support software.
A mac will run w/o Apple's to some extent, it isn't like you can't. Windows 7 has a wide range of hardware it supports.
You wouldn't have the Apple TimeServices to keep Mac and Windows using different time servers, the data/time are always off.... seems like something is wrong to me there.
No OS Switcher in Windows.
Trouble with internet and wireless is perhaps the hardest.
Getting video graphic device enabled, a bummer.
Why can't I find Boot Camp 3.0 download?
