Why can't I find Boot Camp 3.0 download?

It is really increadible now. I realised I use Boot camp 2.0 and I have audio problem with windows 7. it looks I need to upgrade boot camp 3.2. I downloaded 3,2 to upgrade. message appread I need 3,1 then downloaded 3,1 , it said I need 3.0. then I could not find 3.0 anywhere , I have no disk with me now. I need this file or need a way how to upgrade from Boot camp 2.0 to 3.2.

I have succesfully used the download feature, twice, once for an i5 mbp (owner managed to lose his disks on day 2 of ownership) and once on an mba, that said it took forever and on all other occasions I have attempted the download it failed.

Does that mean it's getting better?

Progress bar stayed at zero for the entire time I observed it, I was working on another machine so I left it for about 2 hours, came back expecting to have to use another method, lo & behold it was complete.

But I won't rely on that.

I could not belive it. I have no CD and I do not know any CD place around. I chekc internet there is 2,1, 2.2 then 3.0 is magic(not downloadable) then 3,1 and 3,2. what kind of step? it is amazing. there is upgrade cycle and oen of them is not downloadable. it is not file?? it is something I do not knwo what to say that is not related with data and not downloadable! but work on Mac pro.

is there any one from Apple that give me answer or help?

Dear Hatter, thank you for the detail. but I do not catch your point. 950MB is not a problem what ever inside. I already download 380MB for 3,2 in 5-6 minutes I can wait few minutes more and copy to DVD and solve my problem. I ask Apple to put this file to web side for those that has old boot camp and after upgrading Windows 7 have internal speaker probem to work. 3,2 is soving this problem according to discussion forums.

Point: when you had Windows installed, did you install Boot Camp then?

Did you think to keep Boot Camp folder on local storage instead of on DVD? there is no CD, though you could copy 950MB to flash card.

I have Mac os and Windows 7 installed. windows 7 used to have Boot camp 2.0 and today I upgraded to 2,1 with downlaoding 280MB something file. but from this version I could not upgrade to 3,1 and 3,2. it says 3.0 or grader necessary.

thank you for your advise. it is not my target to go applle places to buy driver. I wait Apple to answer or some one to put this file to sharing. finally will wirte to Mr Jobs again and again. I belive he will not believe and allow this unbelivable way.

Csound , btw , beside driver to get over internet. CD cost is under 1USD. why we pay 29USD for it whiel there is not special licence inside. please look at this window as well. I purhcased many Aplle and apple spare parts. I did not see such price. you need to be carefull and Apple should chekc if your price is being used everywhere. goodbye.

I see. Applle sell new OS with new boot camp. actually I do not know the relation and technical restriction with Mac os and Boot camp. does it mean if my Mac os is older than Snow Lepard and Bootcamp 3.0 or greather will not work? or do I need to upgrade Mac os as well?

Btw. I did not get my answer, hatter jsut say buy CD.

if no other clear answer comes for my bootcamp and mac OS relation/restrcition quastion and no restrcition. like Mac os is old like 10.5 but we installed boot camp 3.0 to window part without upgrading Mac OS. it looks marketing issue. we need to pay time to time for Bootcamp while we upgrade windows part. mac os is becoming bundle gift. I think they should explain openly without making us trouble to understand. but anyway ,in general for new OS product every hardware suppliers offers drivers free of charge for few years later and phase outs. for my two years Mac pro while we use hardware mostly for windows. we expect it. Bootcamp should be seperated from OS all time.
