hyperlink in notes

My Notes app on my iphone4 doesnt seem to be able to make a hyperlink automatically when I enter an address. I know it is supposed to make a hyperlink and link the address to the Maps app. Does anyone know how I can make it work? When I enter a phone number then it makes the link to calling automatically when I touch it. Thanks!
