email multiple attachments

How do I email multiple attachments with my ipad 2. Specifically I want to send an email with multiple pages documents in a single email. I am NOT interested in sending multiple photos I already know how to do that.

though crude but simple way out for sending multiple attachments by using apple mail cleint itself:

1. Go to specific document (in iBook etc or in third party app)

2. Send the document (attachment ONE) to mail (by clicking arrow button)

3. That document would appear in the client as attached

4. Then Select or Select All and COPY the attached file

5. Now "Cancel Mail" with delete draft

6. Again

1. Go to another document (attachement TWO) in iBook etc or in third party app

2. Send this document (attachement TWO) to mail (by clicking arrow button)

7. Then PASTE the earlier document in the mail (which was copied in step 4)

8. See both the documents in the MAIL :-)

This isn't exactly the same thing but it is a decent workaround if you use Dropbox (free app). I select "Open in" and select Drop box after emailing individual PDFs to myself. I then generate links for each of the files I would like to attach to an outgoing email. I copy each link and paste them into the body of the outgoing email. Not exactly attachments but allows me to send one email that lets the recipient access all the PDFs at once. Hope this helps.

Updated for iOS 9:

You can now add multiple attachments, provided your Pages documents are in iCloud Drive (or Dropbox, Google Drive etc)

  1. Start a new email from your iPhone or iPad
  2. Press and hold in the blank area to bring up the 'Copy / Paste' bar
  3. Tap the right hand arrow twice
  4. Tap 'Add Attachment'
  5. iCloud Drive will pop up. You can change the data source (to, e.g., Dropbox) by tapping the icon in the top left
  6. Tap the document you wish to attach
  7. Repeat as necessary
