Hi. A friend showed me after much searching! This is how you attach multiple documents from Pages to the body of one single email. If you are in pages, hit the box with the up arrow. Then hit "Send a copy." It will ask you to select a document to send. Tap the document to select it. Then it will ask you to "Choose a format." You can then choose Pages, PDF, Word, RTF or ePub. Then it will say, "Choose how to send." You can select "Add to iCloud Drive." You can do this one at a time for each document that you want to attach to the same email. Next, open a new email. Tap the ipad screen at the bottom and a paper clip icon will come up among other icons. Tap the paper clip. It will give you an option of "Locations". Tap that and then choose "iCloud drive." You then tap the document you want to attach to the email. You can then repeat this process until you have, one by one, attached all the documents from iCloud drive you want to put in the email. This was enormously helpful to me! I hope it helps others. :)
You can't, unless the app you are using supports selecting multiple files at once to send.
The app, Group Email, let's you send to groups and send multiple attachments.
with apple mail app,
can i add attachment only with the copy/paste option?

The way to send attachments is from within an app that supports emailing from the app.
You would have a document or a photo open on the iPad, then tap the send box arrow-out, and select send via email.
The App "Group Email" is the solution! Thanks for the help on this one. It's strange that apple did not solve this problem in the native mail app, but a solution is a solution. Well worth the 4 bucks for the app!
How about going to photos, tap on the icon in the upper right. The Header should change to "Choose photos" (or something like that - i am from germany so my IOS is german)
Tap on images to select.
On my screen in the upper left there is a button "Send mail" (or something like this)
Works fine from my point of view
Regards
Michael
Has anyone heard if Apple's upcoming OS will correct this? This one weakness surprises me.
Hello friends, i've read the answers but my problem still goes on, also im from Turkey so please excuse my grammer mistakes. Now my problem is, i want to send some emails from my iphone 4, with pdf files attached on it. So far i've been sending my pdf files one by one. imagine how hard and funny it is. ı need to send 4 pdf and ım sending 4 seperate mails for each one. Also i download GroupEmail but couldn't succeed to attach multiple files.
When i search my problem on google, everbody talking about sending multiple photos, or 'open the pdf file, there should be an arrow coming out from box icon press it choose email'. Once again i need to send pdf files(more than one) in a single email.Sorry about my language again this is my best 🙂 Desperately waiting for you help thank you.
Ali Can, I just realized that there are two different apps called Group Email. I tried both. The one that allows multiple attachments is called "Group Email!, mail with attachments". Its the one that costs $4.99, not $0.99. Dont download the one that is simply called "Group Email". Hope this helps. I tried it and it works GREAT!
I solved this problem with a different App: Goodreader. If I have the files on Goodreader it's easy. If not, just send the one I need by email to myself and then open with goodreader from the mail app. Finally, on goodreader just selected the manage files option, select the ones you need and email them.
This is obviously not the correct answer
If you have gmail, the free gmail app has the ability to attach multiple attachments at once
In my experience you can attach multiple PHOTOS in the gmail app, similar to the native mail app. The problem we are discussing is attaching mulitple documents. Such as mutiple pdfs from dropbox.
I had this same need, and found GoodReader to also accomplish the task. It connects to Box.net, which I prefer to Dropbox.
