Will the iPad ever get flash support?

I find many web sites using flash components and I am unable to use these sites. Many videos will not play and Facebook uses a flash control to upload photos to your wall so I can not even upload photos I have on my iPad through Facebook. I can go to my photo and push it to Facebook but you can not leave a comment by doing it this was or at least I see on obvious way to do this. I will have to say I am very dissatisfied with my iPad 2 because of this. Playing videos is one of Apples Bragging points yet a lot of the web sites I visit I can not watch the videos from my iPad.

so disappointing and massively wrong of apple. That statement by Steve Jobsjust makes me angry, so arrogant.... I work with a lot of internet techies thatare all anti Apple and I spend a lot of time defending Apple as I love my iphone. After reading that though I may just give in.

I want an ipad but a huge part of the internet I use involves flash video,so it's the Galaxy tab for me where the flash player works fantastically. Infact flash works brilliantly on many many computers and devices just notApples, a joke Apple, sort it out. You are the problem not Adobe.

If the internet is going to HTML5 and it's better, then great, we'll allbenefit when it happens. I don't want to sit around waiting; I want to use theInternet now. Why Apple can't you sort it out then move on when we get HTML5,it's just stupid!

No Flash = Gash end of.

Apple is losing ground in the smartphone market.Android now accounts for over 50% and will continue to grow.

The consumers dictate what features they want from their devices. Apple doesn't deliver

I would not play over the odds for a CD Player that only plays SACD's and not CD's. I just want a device that can give me the desktop experience. Apple can dress this up however they like but they are denying the public a killer feature and also themselves many many more sales.

I really cant understand why people pay through the nose of an iphone. There are far cheaper and better options out there.

That's a very nice way thinking

Steve Jobs did alot good innovation

remember when he saw the problem on the phone is the keypad

" because this button can't change "

" just make one big screen "

And now almost all smart phones use this.

The world changed because his thinking.

What about flash ?

it's too old, flash was designed for PCs and mice.

Then flash security is not good.

So I think, flash didn't meet the requirements. Now HTML5 on the road.

we're glad we didn't hold our breath too long.

After reading Steve jobs reply on the Flash player subject I felt that he made a decission that should be left to the consumer of his products. One simple way of solving this issue is to just add a flash player "on/off" button along with a fancy disclaimer to the owner of the device. Paying over $500 for a device and being told how and what to do with it does not seem to be worth the money to me. I love apple devices but I sincerely think they are making a mistake on this subject.
