I am using this camera with no issues and great results with ichat however, with facetime I have video and audio but the mic does not work. I am using this camera with my mac mini running lion.
There now seems to be software/driver for Mac
available for this cam:

I'm using the Logitech C910 USB web cam on my 2011 mac mini running OSX 10.7.1 and have been for the last week. So far I have had no problems with it what so ever and I haven't had to install any drivers from Logitech. I just plugged it in and it works fine with Skype, Quicktime, iChat and Facetime the only slight problem is with Photo Booth where I have to start it then quit and on the second start the webcam works but this is only when my Mac has been put to sleep or switched off over night. So I would say that both the webcam and the built in mic work great infact it's the only webcam that I've found that works this good on my Mac Mini running Lion and I've tried a few. I hope that this helps.
