trouble viewing trailers on the Apple Movie Trailers page.

I just recently started having issues viewing trailers on the Apple Movie Trailers page.

When I click on any movie, all the info and graphics come up but none of the actually trailers for the movies.

I can still view tutorials on apple.com and I don't seem to be having issues with any other websites with video.

When I go in the itunes store and view trailers they work. I tried reseting Safari and deleting quicktime files from the Library and Preferences

to no avail.

Any ideas?

This the correct URL:

http://trailers.apple.com/

Do you not see them there?

The following only applies to those running Tiger or Leopard:

If you are experiencing trouble viewing QuickTime movies with QuickTime Player or the QuickTime browser-plug-in follow the steps in the link below to ensure that QuickTime is properly installed on your Mac

http://www.apple.com/quicktime/troubleshooting/

If you having problems watching WWDC Keynotes, tutorials or Trailers on the Apple website, check your Quicktime Player 7 settings in System Preferences:

Under Streaming, set for Automatic, enable Instant On and Play Immediately.

Under Advanced, click Mime Settings and ensure that Streaming (both kinds) are enabled.

(Note that if you are running Snow Leopard you should be using Quicktime Player 7 and not Quicktime 10.) Snow Leopard does not have a QuickTime System Preference pane. No MIME Settings options. No streaming settings. If a User has migrated from 10.5.8 then those settings have moved over (but no changes can be made). QuickTime Player 7 is in your Applications/Utilities folder (if you've got it installed). If not you can install it from the Snow Leopard DVD (Optional Installs).

Check Safari / Preferences - Extensions.

If you have DivX installed, turn off Extensions, quit Safari, relaunch Safari. Try a video.

That particular Extension prevents Apple trailers from loading.

Some users have problems with the Incognito and YouTube5 Extensions also when trying to view an Apple trailer.

The problem for me at least is that when I go to a specific trailer (for example the transformers 3 trailer) it directs me to the individual transofrmers 3 site but gives me no option to select any trailers. User uploaded file

It is basically everything else on the screen besides the trailers (so just the cover art and the information located at the bottom of the screen), This occurs with every trailer I select. I am running WIndows 7 and this occurs with all browsers I have tried using..

The DivX extension has not caused the problem to my knowledge because I deleted the extentsions and there is still nothing. Any other suggestions?

I'm having the same exact problem. I'm on an iMac running 10.5.8. This is clearly not a problem with extensions in Safari and neither is it a problem with Quicktime.

When I go to the apple trailers page, the dropdown menu that is usually located in the upper left that you click on to play a trailer or select a resolution size simply is not there at all.

I open the page in Firefox and it works just peachy keen. This is ONLY happening in Safari. I initially tried simply using the "reset Safari" command and then I downloaded and reinstalled Safari to see if that would fix it. I haven't found a solution yet aside from simply using Firefox to view the page which is not exactly my preference (and thus why I'm here.)

I haven't installed anything or deleted anything (other than reinstalling Safari) so the only thing I can guess at this point is that something changed on the trailers page itself.

Came here looking for answers but apparently there are none yet. Hopefully Apple is aware of it and working on it...
