Canon MP830 Not Being recognised

Hi all.

I was planning on scanning some documents today, and when I clicked on my Image Capture, no device showed up.

So I went into Printer & Faxes the printer was there, but it said it was in use. Although I had closed the image capture, and nothing else was running.

So I thought I'd remove it, and re added it..

Now it doesn't even show up!!

I have tried to re install latest drivers, even removed them and tried previous drivers, nothing is listed.

I tested it on my Macbook, and it shows up fine, so it's not a cable issue.

Can anyone here please please help me.

Mac OS X - Version 10.0.7

Thanks

If the nozzle print shows that the PGI-5Bk is working then I would say that the cartridge is not faulty and that something else is wrong with your setup. There is an issue with 10.6.7 and some fonts not printing but I never found the Canon inkjets to suffer from this. But since this is your symptom then run Software Update and apply the 10.6.7 Font Update.
