Luke: your question about upgrading your 2009 MBP has already been answered in the other thread you started. You can upgrade your machine by adding RAM or replacing the hard drive, but not the logic board.
Not even if I get apple To fit it for me
The boards are not interchangeable.
Can I update my motherboard even a little bit to a quad core or not
Once again, for the third time: no, you can't. If you want a faster computer, buy one.
so let me clear for the last time right not even if i get a better processor on a MacBookPro5,5, for example a i7 processor.
that is what you are saying i can not do that right

It can not be done.

Well, I guess your only alternative, since we can't seem to convince you, is to find a new mainboard, and attempt to install it. Please update us on the status.

what do you mean and i just don't get why you can't do it
You don't get it because you aren't willing to hear it. So buy yourself a used i7 Quad board, if you can find one, and put it into your MBP if you can. Prove us all wrong. Just don't keep asking us to repeat ourselves after we've answered your question several times. Good luck!
i'm a new that's why i don't get it what is stopping you doing it
The fact that it won't work is what stops me from doing it. Apparently nothing will stop you. Go ahead.
It wont work because the CPU is soldered to the motherboard and other motherboards will not fit inside the MacBook.
I just checked inside my early 2009 macbook pro case and the ports are in exactly the same position as the ports on my quad i7. Also the battery is the same voltage and all same connectors. Also, the mainboard is EXACTLY the same size as the earlier one.
I think this just might work as long as all the ports on the new board are soldered/connected up already - the board should just slot into place in the same case. IN FACT the case model number has been the same since 2009 - go check.. ..A1286.
I'm going to try this then post to youtube when done - or broken - one of the two :/
