Ya, I hear you. I can't stand the bs "No, it can't be done." answers from some members here either and then not provide details as to why it cannot be done. Hey, I have no problem with something not being possible due to certain restrictions, but have the knowledge to explain those restrictions or at least make an educated/logical guess. If you can't then don't say anything because chances are good you may not be right. Besides, it doesn't hurt to discuss something.

Has anyone actually tried to do it?

My 2009 logicboard seems damaged, constant freezes or restarts.

I wonder if anyone has actually tried to install a newer logic board into a 2009 chassi.

Those saying it can't be done, please give me a technical description of the reasons.

URGENT as I am about to buy this 2009 logic board for a repair of my MacBookPro 15" mid 2009.

Has there been any experience since last post if this newer logic board was successfully installed since this chain strated?
