Locked, try again in 22 million minutes

I thought this was actually quite funny but I would quite like to use my iPod now ^^

I turned my iPod on today and it said iPod is disabled/try again in 21,733,512 minutes or something which is just over 40 years=( It's a lock screen a little like the one that comes up if you get your password wrong too many times=o

If anyone can help then thanks a lot =D =)

You need to restore you iPod via iTunes on your computer. If you do not remember your passcode you have to place the iPod in recovery mode in order to restore it. For recovery mode see:

iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore

If you have kids, they could have done it. I am mom of three and I chose the iPod touch basically because it was cheap effective I can use hangouts instead of using the calling app on iPhone. I had a iPod 4, then my kids tried to unlock it. It was locked for over 75 YEARS, so I got a new iPod 6. Cause I know that my grandkids will probably get an iPhone 17c+ the size of an iPad Air and won't like the iPod 4.

Did yo notice that the post is 4 years old?

Also what yo said is incorrect. If the iPod is Disabled then yo gave to restore the device as already said.
