I'm having the same issues after deleting some items of the Podcast listings. Now everytime I click on the Podcast directory it freezes.

I've deleted a whole bunch of stuff like deleting the entire podcast directory in iTunes Media directory, caches and itunes pref but its still the same.

Running Windows 7 64 bit here on iTunes 10.2.2.14. Going to try a reinstall but doubting it will work.

After deleting that cache Podcast directory, I was eventually able to use it again. The first time using Itunes it froze just like previous times, but after letting it run for about 15-20 minutes, it began working again. Not sure why thats the case, perhaps Itunes tried to find the podcast that didnt exist and eventually timed out. When I deleted the entire Podcast directory, perhaps it stopped looking after the that the file was no longer there and subsequent times it worked.

Not sure this will work with everyone. Also note that Itunes will complain about those missing Podcast files though... maybe forever. I just click "Dont remind me about it"....
