Hello,
My macbook pro died after plug an usb iphone wire in (just the wire, the phone wasn't connected yet). I've just plug that wire on my macbook and the laptop suddenly died, doesn't want to turn on 😟.
When i plug the magsafe in the led is very weak (green) and after a while it changes to ambar and starts to blink.
I've tried to reset SMC, removed RAM slots,etc nothing worked my 1400€ babe is dead....
macbook, Mac OS X (10.6.3), ...
i've forgot to say that when i press the led battery indicator button in the left no led turns on 😟
Have you solved this problem?
Apple guys solved the problem by discharging the battery, unplug and plug it. Some cheap wires may not work properly, better buy official ones.
please Help, I have the same problem but my MBP charges fine and it powers on then does a safe boot but when it's complete, it goes dead again. Please what do I do, I don't have Apple care..*sobs*

Tried it and it completed a safe boot and went dead....do I wait for the battery to discharge completely? What do I do pls help
