I am a new iMac user (a switcher). I am looking for a wireless router DSL modem to use with my iMac. I web search, download documents and videos, watch videos, email and want something fast and easy to set up. Can you recommend a DSL router/modem?
iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.7)
My preference is Linksys. Others like dLink.

Thanks for all the input. I should have mentioned that my DSL provider is SBC DSL (AT&T) as I hear that they are a problem when not using their equipment.
I'm with noondaywitch - I prefer Netgear (I've got quite a distance, so I tried DLink - barely worked, and Linksys - a bit better, but not good enough).
In any case, does your ISP have a list of "supported" devices? For instance, mine has a list of "approved" modems - you can only get one of those; however, for a router, you can get any you want as long as you call them when you set it up so they can "see" and recognize it at their end.
You should ask for there basic (phone line to ethernet) modem and phone filters that are/should be provided (free) with there service and then connect your router of choice to that modem. My Belkin Router plugged into the SBC DSL (AT&T) provided modem works great for both my iMac and iPad. Mind you that the AT&T DSL Service in my area is not real fast, but it is cheap and very reliable.

Actually we bought it about a month after they first came out.
I have the Siemens SpeedStream 4100 modem for my SBC global DSL 6 meg hookup. Have had it for years with no problems. When I finally convinced myself to go with Apple TV, I needed a modem. I chose the Apple Airport Extreme (there are other modem choices out there as well). The hookup was very easy. I simply followed directions with the modem, hooked up the a either net line from the modem to the Airport and another either net line from the Airport modem to the iMac. The Airport modem then established my network. I then hooked up the Apple TV via a HMDS cable to the TV and followed the set up instructions. Viola; streamed Netflix and a multitude of other video sites.
