4.3.3 no SIM card ???

Yesterday I updated my iPhone 4 from 4.3.2 to 4.3.3, and now I'm facing these same symptoms (No SIM ; No SIM card installed) even removing and re-inserting the SIM on the phone.

I also tried to restore the phone on iTunes. No sucess.

My carrier is TIM (Brazil).

Any ideas to fix it definitely ?

Getting a new SIM seems to have worked for a number of other people on this thread.

I wud try Meg St.Clair's tip first. Easiest and cheapest. If that doesn't work for you. Instead of just restoring from iTunes. Do a sync, then a backup. Then restore your phone as new from the phone itself, then restore from iTunes. If you haven't done this way of restore yet. Good luck. 🙂

I went to TIM on Wed. and got a new microSIM.

Everything is fine now.

how do we even re boot when the screen comes with message only compabtible sim cards, the re boot option is not available when the sim not valid error is presented?
