After syncing my songs to my iPod, the touch screen won't work properly. The 'slide' feature isn't working. You can only tap to select things, and that only works about half of the time. It's brand new, I only recieved it today.

I have the same problem, but mine has been working like a charm for a year. Today, after updating to latest iTunes and an enforced restore, it no longer responds to touch. Very maddening!
is voice over on? people having voice over on have reported this problem earlier ... it can be truned off in the ipod OR in itunes on the ipod main page
Thank you, I have figured it out! Voice over mode was on and it turned on after I updated the latest iTunes. After turning off voice over mode, it works perfectly now.

how do i fix this problem i have?
My nano 6th generation's touch screen won't respond correctly. Turning off, reseting, and restoring don't work.
