trying to update apps but invalid address keeps popping up

Apple try to do good we suffer evil!!! i lost the las 7 hours trying to figured out how to fix this problem, we should sue them for lost time and compensation lol!!! an email to all of us could it helped a lot thanks apple for nothing!!!

OMG. None work and now my security cod is invalid too. : (

I have a lot of apps to be update. : (

What I do!!??!!

I promised a how to when I got it fixed. So here it is.

Example

Address: **** N *** E

City: NORTH OGDEN

State: UT

Notes: city must be in caps. State must be in caps and abbreviated without any markings. Check the USPS "find my zip" to get EXACTLY what to type in. Put your address on a single line. No markings in the address area.

After spending several hours on the phone with Apple (who were wonderful btw) I finally got a solution to the invalid address loop. First they had me go to this webite to see exactly how the postal dept. has my address listed:

http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/welcome.jsp

After I did that they had me go to appleid.apple.com and click on " Manage your account" and make sure the address was the same way as the postal service had it.

Now this initially did not work for me as it turned out my bank had our old zip code in their files so I called them to change it to the new zip code. Then it all worked! So try the first two things first and if all else fails call Apple - they were so very helpful and are fully aware of the issue. If you call your local Apple Store they can connect you to Apple Support directly.

I have tried everything. My address is pretty straightforward. I checked google maps, I checked USPS. I changed Circle (which is on my bank account) to Cir. I tried all caps, I've tried without caps. I've tried with the 4 digit addition, and without. I've tried putting in my middle initial, and leaving it out. This is far too frustrating. I tried numbers on one line and address on the other. This really *****.

Been having the same type of problem with updating apps, password not being recognised no matter how many times I reset it, then it asks for credit card details which it will not accept, so I do not know how I am to update my apps because it say it must have credit card details. Have checked that all information matches and it does. So I have no idea what to do and I have not heard from itunes since I contacted them about this specific problem.

You can click the option "None" if you don't want to link your credit card but still want to download free apps
