I did, but after verifying the Firmware with Apple, it stuck on Preparing iPhone to Restore.

I can listen there was a USB Plug Out sound which came from Laptop (Win 7).

What is smells like, while restoring the iPhone it turned off the iPhone and after that iPhone never came up again.

The Screen is still blank and there is nothing on iPhone Screen. I still cannot believe that this is a Hardware Error.

Now I can see Error 1602 is there on iTunes. Please help if you have any other solution.

I have this problem as well i was up dating my iphone4 and it failed at first i had the error 1601 and my phone was displying the USB and iTunes logo.I went to apples website and they say to reinstall itunes, but first i tryed a repair on the install and now i am gettting error 3194. still with the USB and iTunes logo.

I have tryed TinyUmbreall (4.33) but the button fix recovery is grayed out and on TinyUmbreall (4.1.4) the button kick device out of recovery is grayed out. plus never of them seam to see my phone.

I can get it to kick in to recovery using the home & wake/power button togther in iTunes but fails when recvoring.

Would changing the host file work ? as siad above or this way i read

I Performed all these Steps. I was able to make it up with my 1st iPhone but the other one is still Dead. There is nothing on Screen and Computer and iTunes Response when I plug it in.

I tried the following:

1. Host File Modification.

2. Discharged it completely and then Plugged back in.

3. Used TinyUmbrella.

4. Used FixRecovery Tool.

and Many more options given in this Post. Can any one help me with the same..
