iPhone 4 cannot connect to home Wi-Fi

As to all those who suggest changing your router settings, it shouldn't have to be changed as everything WAS working fine before your upgrade. A simple reset will do the trick.

If jailbroken and /var/preferences/com.apple.captive.plist is 0 byte, removing it might work. That actually fixed my iPT3's Wifi.

I am new to this forum but I have to admit that is a bit strange that my iPhone 4 that worked fantastically until now suddenly gives me the same message as the other users "unable to join XXX network." My home network is secured and never had any problem connecting to it, but now it does not do it anymore. Furthermore, I have Apple TV that connects just fine as well as my MacBook.

Is there a solution that could fix this problem?

Yes, that is very possible, or it changed a setting on your iPhone that is now corrected. Which is why people keep making these suggestions to try instead of saying just wait for the next update.
