iPhone 4 cannot connect to home Wi-Fi

Hi,

i have a same problem but its working within 3 meter range.

can anybody help me in this.

I had an issue with the iPhone 4 only working close to the

Router. Changed router channel and all Ok. Not sure

why but presume intereference of some kind

How long have u had this phone

I had the same problem and i called and it turns out the my software was out of date and needed to update

how did you do that appleman? sounds like the same problem im having i have done everything buut change the router, i dont know how

router password i meant

JustinCJ, i cant connect to any router, my wifi range is 5 meters. Must I check every router in the country?.

Great thanks so much my iPhone and my son's iPod both lost Wi-Fi connection and I took your advice and turned off my Router and turned it back on after 30 seconds, problem solved, thanks so much. 🙂

Reboot the iphone, router, or modem

I tried almost everything mentioned on this list. And nothing worked.

Then I gave up and left it for a few days.

And all of a sudden it has started working again!!!

Hi, I had the same problem with my iPhone 4s, at once it didn't want to connect to my home wi-fi. Did exactly what FeverBeard said and it's working again. So thanks a lot.

Plz update your iphone 4 to latest version 5.1.1 and it will work.

I had the exact same issues and tried the "forget network" approach and then reassigned the password. It took about 3-4 tries but I FINALLY got back on at home.

Had the same problem with a 4Gs.

Assigned a static IP adress and that solved the problem.
