iPhone 4 cannot connect to home Wi-Fi

I had the problem prior adding apple tv.

manually type in network info worked for me

The same problem occured with my iPhone 4S right after the update to iOS 6.0. I fixed by changing WiFi router channel setting from 11 to 1. Hope this helps.

Try static IP

Try turning off bluetooth and seeing if has any effect on your wireless speeds. Over on the iphone5 wireless threads people are having luck doing this.

Before you restore. Try going to settings, safari, delete cookies and delete whatever else it ask you to delete and let me know if that works.

Log into your ADSL router management console.

Re-enter your ISP username and password.

I've been having the same problem and it doesn't work. it just says that its not found, or unable to look for networks.

Some very, very smart people replied to this post. I don't qualify, but I did just turn my Netgear router off for a minute and reconnected- and behold, by Ipone is connected....🙂

I am in the same point as everyone else. After changing my router settings to include WPA2 I can connect to the internet but I cannot actually join the network. This is very frustrating.
