Can Not upload files from iPad to Content management sites?

still you can not Uploading files on the IPad to CM sites... because "Choose file" is grayed out in Moodle or any other web based content management site I use. If it's absolutely not possible I need to be going another route. No file systems means this iPad can't do simple web based tasks. Please no post on how to attach to iPad apps. I need to upload or attach files on my iPad to a web based email account or to a content management site. After a year of waiting for apple to make this more than a content viewing tool im finally getting ready to move on.

I too need to upload PDFs to a Drupal site often and would love to use my original iPad (which doesn't allow iOS 6) if away from my Mac Pro and only have access to my iPad.

After reding this thread carefully I'm wondering 2 things:

1. Is iCab better than iUploader for my purpose?

2. If somone emails me a PDF attachment, since a normal finder file architecture doesn't exist on ipad (or at least that we can see and navigate to files in) can one of the above apps find a PDF file attached to an email in my inbox?

Or do I need to get the PDF into say DropBox and then I can access the PDF with iCab or iUploader to then upload to a Drupal type site?

Thanks for the help.

Please help!

I am on the verge of returning this IPad 4!!! It seems like every time I want to do ANYTHING, I have to do hours of research first! Then there's a fee for everything. Either that, or it just cannot be done due to Apple restrictions, agreements, or whatever. Who has time for this??? Well, technically, I do, since I am unemployed. This brings me to the issue everyone seems to be discussing. How can I UPload (or attach) my resume, which I have managed to save in PDF format in IBooks, on a web site? And might I add, how can I do this for free, quickly, and easily? Oh my goodness, I miss my Gateway. . .

Many thanks.

Instead of going to the very end and posting the very same question as the first post, how about read the last 5 pages of this very topic?

Hmmmm, instead of wasting time with a useless and sarcastic answer, why not try and be helpful? This is the point of a "support community", is it not? Not a great welcome for a first-time user like me.

I read many of the suggestions and tried some of them. The point, and my my question, was to avoid so much research and find a solution.

So you want others to hold your hand and direct you exactly when the answer is plainly on the screen, two posts above yours?

Perhaps there's something else you need to add to your resumé?

Catagosa,

Take it back if you are within the 30 day time frame. It is NOT a computer.

You can not upload .docx's or .pdf's to a company's website - no way, no how. You need to email the file to a 'real' computer to upload. I currently only own an iPad 3, I've gone through it all.

Also, editing/formatting is a real pain. I have an extended keyboard which helps to some degree.

Also, don't read anything posted by CHRIS CA. It's disgusting a Level 9 person makes these comments.

How do all these jobless people afford iPads/iPods/iPhones (and Android devices)?"

Need I say more... Good luck

Apple has a 14 day return policy.

Yes way, yes how.

Just use iCab to upload .docx's or .pdf's to a company's website (as mentioned a few times in this very thread).

I think it's disgusting that people come here and post lies.
