how to remove ALL photos from iPad2 ???

hi all, i have been using iTunes on my Mac to Sync with my iPad2 and now got 1,000 photos all in the default folder "camera roll"

with another post i have now learnt ! how to Sync all my photos from my Mac AND still retain them in there relevant folders on the iPad2

i have found a few threads telling me how to delete all photos off of my iPad2, i have tried to carry out the relevant instructions in all of them, but something is stopping it happening, can someone help please. by spelling it out to me.

i do realise i can delete the photos on the iPad individually while viewing them in Photos, but i have a 1,000 photos to delete ! and i haven't got time OR the patience LOL.

Mike, unsure if you have figured how to delete pictures. i discovered a way to delete/remove pictures from Ipad 2.

on your mac intel/pc, open finder, click the home icon, category column appears displaying documents, pictures, etc, insert new folder in the category section, name the folder, place all your pictures in that folder (leaving no photos in your picture folder), then go to iTunes click on your ipad and summary appears click photos to the right of the bar, you will see a drop down arrow asking where to sync from, select the pictures folder, "reminder prior to sync be sure to have moved your photos to the new named folder listed on category column" now your ready to re-sync and excess photos will be removed from your ipad. hope this helps.
