My iPad 2 has a gap between the plastic and glass !?!

My iPad 2 has a small gap at the top between the plastic and glass. I took it in to get a replacement and I did but still have the same problem. I am waiting on my 3rd iPad 2 that is taking a month! Apple employee tried to tell me they are all like that? does anyone else have this problem I am extremely upset with apple

Can you elaborate or describe better? There is no plastic between the glass and the aluminum body, except at the very "top" above the front facing camera and this is a large plastic piece that wraps around to the back of the unit. I think this must be where the antennea are located. Overall the glass is slightly raised from the body at the edge of the aluminum body and even the single plastic piece I mentioned.

There is a plastic or rubberized strip between the glass and the aluminum to act as a seal and there should be no gap. On mine this fits snugly all round. There have been reports that a few of the early iPads had some problems with these seals. I suggest finding some of the reports (online and in these forums) and taking the reports and the iPad back to your Apple person. They are not all like that.
