I need itunes 10.5 or over to use with my iphone 4 but I cannot instal it with OS 10.4. Is there a way of installing the itunes or do I need to upgrade my operating system

I cannot install itunes 10.67 with my operating system 10.4.1. Therefore, I cannot use it with my new iphone 4. Do I need to upgrade my OS or is there a way to set itunes to work with the new phone still using the 10.4.1 operating system.

Your MacBook is Intel now a PowerPC. You can install Snow Leopard.

There is no way to sync an iPhone using Tiger 10.4.11

FYI... the $29.00 SL upgrade is for Leopard users, not Tiger.

Upgrading from Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger.

If your Intel-based Mac is running Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger, purchase the Mac Box Set, which is a single, affordable package that includes Mac OS X v10.6.3 Snow Leopard; iLife, with the latest versions of iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, iWeb, and iDVD; and iWork, Apple’s productivity suite for home and office including Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.
