Error during rendering/encoding
I have been trying to burn a DVD from various movies taken on my 8mm Sony HanyCam. I have tried on 3 different Macs, a 24"iMac, a 27"iMac and a 17" MacBookPro. All are running OS10.6.7 and all versions of software are the same, iMovie 9.0.2 and iDVD 7.1.1.
Once my project in iMovie is complete (about 75 minutes) I choose Share and select iDVD. From within iDVD I choose a theme and fill in all drop zones with photos from within iPhoto. I can preview my DVD before I burn my disc and in preview mode my movie complete with chapter/scene selections all work as expected. In fact the end result looks really great. However when I try to burn a DVD the process appears to be going along as it should for about 45 minutes or so when the DVD is ejected and the following error message appears-
The error message is the same on each Mac - "There was an error during rendering/encoding of the menus/slideshows. The burning process has been canceled."
I have also tried different themes but the result are the same.
All suggestion of how to complete a successful burn would be appreciated.
Kind Regards
Gary
