As of today I can't download any free app or update the ones I've bought. It keeps saying that my address is wrong and It's the same since I first created my account 2 years ago. Am I the only one having this problem? I don't have a credit card on it cause I use gift cards.
I used Apple's own address and it worked! I no longer have any problem. Soo happy, I was getting really frustrated.

I can't believe it but I took out my credit card info, entered Apple's address, and it worked. This is gotta be one of the weirdest solution to a problem I've seen in a while. Thanks for providing us with the info nikisea!
Me too! I just downloaded an app yesterday and it worked. Then when I needed to update my Pandora app, it says "invalid address". I even changed my password and it's still doing the same thing. What the freak! I'm getting frustrated. Did you find any solutions to this problem???

I was having the same issue on both my computer and Ipod touch. It wasn't the credit card nor my email address. It was my physical address. I have been using 5555 NC 123 North for years. For some reason, this address will no longer validate. I changed it to 5555 NC HWY 123 North and I can now download my apps fine. Hope this helps.
Just got off the phone with customer service. She told me to go into my account information on
itunes and capitalize my street address and city. Worked like a charm!
