Invalid Address

I switched my debit card to my paypal account and it fixed it... idk why it wouldn't take my address before.. so annoying! hope it helps you too!

In your account manager, put something on the second line of "address" even if it's the same as the first line. Somehow it needs to see something on THAT line as well to be valid.

Fixed this (after 45 minutes of head banging). My billing address was a PO Box, with 4 digits (e.g. 1234) and my zip was ZIP +4 (e.g. 98765-6789).

Changed my PO Box address to include the last 2 digits of the ZP +4 like this:

PO Box 891234

And success!

Tried that and it didnt work for me either. Grrrrrrrr!!

I also experienced this problem only I was using a Pay Pal account with a PO Box as the billing address. I tried every variation of that I address I could think of and compared it to my card address too. Finally the only thing that worked was putting in my actual address (I think I could of entered any address), which is not linked to my CC billing, and it worked. I have not switched it back to the PO Box and it is working fine.

I should also mention the countless hours I wasted sorting through this mess...

Do what that guy said who has the link that has the word geek on it. Just change your address to a company or something. I changed mine to my dad's work and it started downloading again.

My Address was doing this...i found that my Zip Code didnt match my Street Address..try checking your info

That link only works if you DON'T have a CC attached to your account. If you purchase with a CC your address has to match your banking statement. Hence we need a REAL fix, not a workaround or cheap gimmick.

Has anyone with an account that has no credit card details had any success in getting it working? I have no credit card associated with my account. It was working before a few day(s) ago.

Keeps looping around on my ipad. It will accept my updated details then the install will fail. If I update details on my desktop computer in the apple store it accepts my updated details but still can't download anything or update anything.

Not the first time I've had issuses with the apple store won't be the last either.

Finally figured out a fix.

I'm hooked into my Itunes account with my CC. After updating to the latest version for my iphone, I kept getting the "invalid address" pop up when I tried to update my apps.

Here was my problem: I live in an apartment, and that address line seemed to be what was screwing things up. Instead of "Apt." I spelled out "apartment" and magically, things seem to work (I also put in my CC security code). I just updated four apps and got a new one (HBO to go) without any problem. Hope this helps.

Big mess !!! I fixed it by looking up my address @ UPS.com and putting that address into the system exactly as listed......also filled in the 2nd line address with same address......
