Sony 7506 Headphones

I'm trying to use Sony 7506 headphones with my MacBook Pro, but I don't have the option to switch to headphones for output. Are these headphones compatible with MBP?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.4), iPhone 4

They should switch automatically. Have you checked with SONY?

Not yet. When I plug in the phones that came with my iPhone, the output device switches automatically. Not so with the Sonys. I'll have to check out their site.

Did a PRAM reset - problem solved.
