Thanks Much. I just spent 2 days on the phone with support and they could not figure it out. I even reset to factory settings, restored my computer setting, reentered my Charge Card Account numerous times. DId my WiFI all over again etc etc. Very frustrating till I clicked on your website and sure enough my address was listed as 6 and not 622. I live in a Condo Complex and 22 is my unit number. I changed my address on my IPOD TOUCH 4 to just 6 and not 622 and I downloaded APPS with success. I also changed Road to Rd. Thanks for your help. I feel so much better after feeling frustrated.

After reading through all of the comments on this thread, I went back and tried changing "Lane" to "Ln" on my street and little things like that but to no avail. Then I noticed that my street had two letters transposed so I fixed that and IT WORKED! Go figure. If that was what I had entered when when I updated my cc it has worked on all of my iTune and iPhoto charges. Only when iPhone and iPad want to update apps does it decide that this is not good and bounce everything. So, my suggestion is to check the details of your cc info. That's what worked for me.

OMG I was finally able to fix this issue. It was dringing me crazy...I was not able to update my angry birds app with the same error over and over again!!! (INVALID ADDRESS) So I did as many recommended and went to billing and typed in every information all over again and instead of st. I actually typed street. So thank you all for the good brains that you have 🙂 You are all awesome!!!!

Well, the advice about using Apple's address actually clued me in. I went and tried this on the first address line:

<house number> <street> <city> <state> <zip>

No commas, just one space between each. Then fill in City, State, Country, Zip etc. in the required spots and BOOM it starts working.

So on the whole entry looks like this (this is a made up address for example purposes, but in the same format):

Address: 123 Main St Centerville MN 55555

City: Centerville State: MN

Zip: 55555 Phone: 123 1234567

Country: United States

Hope this helps.
