Just figured out mine.

They are not just using full address validation against the bank/credit card record. They seems to be using USPS validated addresses. So Bank/CC Address -> USPS validation -> source address, compare to iPhone/iPad Address -> USPS validation -> target address. As such, matching the addresses between iphone/ipad and the bank/cc record letter for letter is actually NOT necessary and as some of you have tried, doesn't.

Like mine for example, I use a PO Box as mailing address. The number needs to be the full number. The USPS version of my po box address actually has a couple of leading digits that are normally not relevant but that becomes necessary now. So my iphone address actually has extra digit prefix than my cc record.

Here's one thing you might want to try:

This link goes to Experian QAS website. It has a free USPS address verification tool. Enter your address (no personal and or demographic info is needed) and see what the USPS sanitized version looks like. Change your phone to match and see if that alleviate the problem.

If you worry about privacy, as a test, put in your neighbor's address, you might gleen some info on why what you have on your iphone/ipad is not validating.
