I have recently installed MS Office 2011 for Mac. I'd like to sync my iTunes calendar with the Outlook calendar (which I also sync with iCal), and then sync my iPhone and iPad through iTunes. But iTunes does not show the Outlook calendar as a syncing option. Is there a way for me to get it to sync with the Outlook calendar?

No? Really? How can that be? Why won't they allow you to sync Outlook calender?
My iPhone 4 was working fine, synched with Outlook 2011 on my iMac 11.02 through iTunes. Calendar changes also appeared in iCal, even though I don't use iCal - I only use Outlook. Last week I was prompted to update Outlook, which I did successfully. Today, I plugged the iPhone into the iMac to synch and suddenly all Calendar and Contact items are gone from the iPhone and in iCal on the iMac. In iTunes, the option to synch with Outlook in the Info tab ("other") is greyed out. What happened? Why can't I synch the iPhone anymore with Outlook? All the Calendar and Contact info is still on the iMac in Outlook. Help!

Unlike Outlook for Windows Outlook for Mac does not support iCloud (no Dav services in Outlook for Mac), it will work with iCloud mail but nothing else.

Microsoft changed how/what is able to sync.
If Microsoft would follow an open standard, it would work fine.
