My ipod touch wont let me play some games Why?

When I try to play games on my ipod touch 2nd gen on pretty much all the games i just download i try to play them and then it takes me into the game and starts to load then all of a sudden sends me to my home screen sometimes it even does on games I'v had downloaded forever i just want to know whats wrong with my ipod touch some one help please.
