personal hotspot in iphone 4 is missing

i updated my iphone IOS from 4.3.2 to 4.3.3 then my personal hotspot was missing... can someone help me..

iPhone 4, iOS 4.3.2

if you cannot seen it in setting ,

go setting --------General -------Netwrok---------Personal Hotspot-----------Active it from here.

After active from here you can see in Main setting .

Hi!


I had the same problem and found the solution. At least for my iPone 4. I was using a program called ONAVO, with installs a certificate on the iPhone to enable data compression. Just remove it and the personal hotspot option shows up.


Remove the ONAVO certificate if you are using this program and you´re done. That solves my personal hotspot missing.

ok so i have looked through this thread and tried most things now and still no help.
its an iphone 4 os is 6.1

i have made sure that cellular data 3g and data roaming is all on. i have reset my phone. i have restet my network settings, nothing will give me the personal hotspot menu on the first settings page. all i have is the one in cellular, when i click it all it says is go to this web page, follow the link it just tells you how to set up a personal hotspot using the hotspot button on the first settings page .... the button i do not have.

If personal hotspot is missing by updating or changing ur APN adress ... just restat the Mobile data network personal hotspot will be appear when turn on ur mobile Data

setting ->general ->Mobile Data (or) Cellular Data -->Mobile Data Network ---> Then Reset

Dont Worry about unlocked phones i will reset only the Data so no network changes

HI guys,


I had the same issue and solved it by going into Settings>>General>>Cellular>>. your Cellular Data and Enable 3G options should be on; well, turn them off and back on again, your Personal Hotspot Menu should show on your main screen again.

P.S.: before trying the above, my Carrier advised that I should reset the iphone to default... tried that but it didn't work. So I recommend just trying the above! ; )
