Whenever I wake my iPad 2 from sleep and unlock it, it tells me it's connected to the Wi-Fi network but there is no Internet connection whatsoever.
In order to restore the connection I have to turn Wi-Fi off and back on.
I am running iOS 4.3.3.

The iPad has no problems connecting to other networks. The issue is not connection to the Wi-Fi network, the problem is when the iPad is asleep for a long period of time, and when it waked up it successfully connects to the network, but offers no Internet access.

Is that your experience with other networks and the iPad?
so after some time my ipad2 on "g" only has failed me. i am now having to reset it after it sleeps for a while. i guess i will reset it to the factory setting and try it again. i really believe this is an apple problem and not the router. hope they fix it soon.

Yes.
Like you, I had no problem with iPad at other locations. Just now at home, turned off iPad, shut down PC, and rebooted the router (AT&T uVerse 2WIRE). Now all is well. I did not have to reset iPad to factory settings, suggested by Apple. However, I'll let it sleep for a while and we'll see what happens.

What I ended up doing was rebooting the router here at home (I have AT&T 2WIRE) and that did the trick. Has been fine ever since.
I am having the same issue. Wake up iPad 2, and it shows connected to network, but, no internet connectivity. I have to stop/restart wireless. The only thing I have noticed though, is if I put the iPad 2 to sleep using my smart cover instead of using the lock button, no matter how long it has been sleeping, it is fine. Curiousl.
Strange,because when I close my smart cover for even a few seconds it loses air print support and cannot find my printer. I have to reset the wifi connection to get it back or it seems I need to wait an extended period of time for AirPrint to find my network agin.
And no solutions yet? I also have this bug and I will have to stop developing for IPad because my app need to know when the internet connection is available.
In this situations, my app can send messages to the server but don't get any answer.
