I got a reading from the big plug the highest i got was v.13.3 when first plugged in it go's to v11.2 then down to 0?

What is that pins voltage supposed to be?

when the qs is on it stays at V3.33

What pin number?

he Hard Drive plug is V5.5 when on

There should be 12v and 5v.

If any of the voltages from the test are NOT as listed for each pin in the QS pinout then the PSU is bad.

"What is that pins voltage supposed to be?" i got that voltage on pin 22 that pin is suppose to be +25v. when the qs is on it stays at V3.33 that pin # is pin 22. if i get a new/used psu do you think the qs will work? it is a dual 1ghz not 933mhz sorry about that🙂 Thank you for all your help🙂

Thank you for all your help japamac🙂 i just have to bug you for one last time i looked for qs psu's and they are $50+ is they any way to tell if it is a Motherboard problem? when i press the power butten the fan's all come on and a red light on the motherboard comes on but no startup tone or powerbutten light. if i start it up with no ram there is no beeps if i do that with my g4 mdd it beeps? i took out the cpu card and the fans and red light do not turn on when i press the power butten so it knowes the cpu card is there. the pin 22 that have to have +25v only haves a max of +13v and down to zero in a sec? do you think it wood make the computer act like that? if i wear going to put out $50+ wood it be better to get a psu or a motherboard? thank you for all of your help🙂

This post just made me get out my old 2X 1GHZ Quick Silver from my attic with close to the same issue. fan comes on, no powerlight, red light on system board! I put it in the attic 6 months ago. because i did not want to see it any more😁 i put in a new psu in it (i tested the old one first with a multimeter and it was dead well almost) and i reset the computer. and it worked fine for 2+ weeks. then back to NO START UP😟 so i put in new, ram, hard drive, video card, pram batt, cpu card. With no look😟 so now i have over $300+ in a 7+year old computer that i can get on ebay for way under $150 and it still will not work. so i was very mad at it and i put it in the attic😠 i took it out just today and it turned on🙂 i put os x 10.5 in it played with it a little and turned it off. i will just say 1 thing it is going back in the attic it is not working any more. well i at lest had 1 last time to use it😟 next thing is to get a new system board. i will just get a used QS at a flea market or E-bay for use or for parts.
