'Twitter' from the account

I wanted to install the 'Twitter' application from the Mac App Store.

When I did so, the login menu popped down, and it said that I had to log into the account.

This is not my account.

I've searched my Mac using spotlight, and I do not already have the application.

So now I can't download the application.

However, it dus appear under 'Updates', and when i press [update], it asks for the password again.

I'm worried that it got on my computer via a hack of some sort?

And what could I do in order to fix this problem?

Hi,

I've tried this several times and the "bogus" Apple ID is still there. When I get to trying to downlaod the fresh legit copy of Twitter I get an "Unknown error " message from the Apple Store. This is followed by a "We could not complete your request. There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (4)" message.

Any other hints, please?

TT
