One of the corners of the smart cover is coming a part. I can see the magnet.
Anyone else seeing this?
It was purchased the 1st Saturday the iPad 2 was released, so I guess exchanging is out of the question.
Try taking it back, Apple will do it's best to make you a satisfied customer.
I got my Smart Cover March 15th and I've put it to heavy use. It isn't fraying or separating, but if it were, I'd ask for a replacement.
even though there are 4 (5?) apple stores here in nyc, i didnt want to make a special trip just for this. today i happened to be around one of them.
yup, they replaced it. was told that the cover has a one year warranty. my leather was fraying on 3 of the 4 corners. i swear didnt do anything to it to cause this, but now im wondering could it be "sweat" from the bag i put it in. though canvas, the lining is basically plastic.
One year warranty? I just called into Apple support and was told 90 days warranty on the smart cover. I bought mine in March and it's fraying in the bottom corner and separating on the spindle where it attaches on the side.
$60 dollars for an accessory that starts to fall apart within 6 months, and no help from Apple Support. I'm not a happy customer.

that is what the person at the store told me. My second cover has not shown the same issue, eventhough I use it the same way.
