How do I use wildcards in pages

I din't know anything about wild cards in Pages. The PAges user Guide doesn't have anything about it. Could you explain when you would use them?

Exactly as in Numbers, wildcards may be used by some tables functions.

If the OP want to use wildcards in the Search & Replace tool, the answer is : feature unavailable !

Pages does not have wildcards in Search and Replace.
