iPad 2 camera shutter won't open! PLEASE HELP!

I also got the same issue, but I just update to 5.1.. Does anyone know if this a hardware or software related issue? As I about to move to Australia and my NAS which storage a copy of my library beside icloud will be offline for 3 months. However I have done the factory default and restored from icloud but that only last 1 load of the app. Then the issue returns.

I had the same problem with my iPad 2 days old, and I have found an post saying that camera started to work again after battery was depilated to point that iPad shut off himself.

I did it the same way today and it worked for me!

Because it's a very bad camera, really meant only for video. If you want a decent camera you need to get he new iPad.

Hi Everyone..

I end up going into the Apple Store in London and they exchange my ipad for me. So still not sure if it's a software or hardware issue.
