Apple TV - Netflix Streaming issue

I am having problems streaming Netflix on my Apple TV2 since Monday. I had the problem on Sat. night and later on Sunday I updated the software as there was a message about an update and then was able to watch a movie on Sunday night. However the problem reocurred on Monday and since then not gone away. Is anyone else facing a similar situation? and better still does anyone have a solution to this problem? Apple TV support any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I had an issue with Netflix not working for about 12 hours, then it all came back fine. I feel lucky but there is hope. In the mean time, test network settings. Try watching podcasts or youtube. If they load, it's not a hardware problem. I agree with the determination that Netflix has something going on with their servers. You could take the Apple TV to another residence and try it there to test it. Also you could make an appt to have Apple Genii look at it. If it works ok there, I'd call Netflix and ask for a credit or some sort of resolution.


It all may just come back when they fix the server issue. Frustrating. I know.

I've been having the problem for 3 days now. Nothing works. But it will work on my Blue Ray Player. But then I also had problems with that last night. But now it's working this morning. What did all of you do to get it to work? Anything? Because while my BlueRay will load it up, it's a LOT slower and much less user friendly. Any suggestions?? I can't believe this has been going on since the beginning of June!

I have been unable to access Netflix via AppleTV for a couple of hours now. This seems to be a Netflix issue. I receive the following error message when trying to sign into Netflix on AppleTV: "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable. ... The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems." I have tried reporting the issue through Netflix's site. (I can access the Netflix site and stream movies on my laptop.) Netflix's site says that everything appears to be working as normal. Is anyone else having similar issues?
