Getting 5002 error

Getting 5002 error, seems like others are not able to download or update either.

Mac Pro, G4 867 , iBook 1.33, Color Clasic, Bondi iMac, iPhone !, Mac OS X (10.6.7), iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 4, iPad, iPad 2 soon

I also tried the "Reset Cache" as Carolyn Samit did as I could not sign in either. (on a MBP not iPad) Unfortunately that did not work for me.


I went the keychain First Aid route for my solution.


Keychain First Aid:

  1. Open Keychain Access located in Applications/Utilities, then choose Keychain Access > Keychain First Aid.
  2. Enter your user name and password. (for your mac, not itunes)
  3. Select, Verify and click Start. Any problems found will be displayed.
  4. If there are problems, select Repair and then click Start.

I hope that works for at least some of you.
