Getting 5002 error

It started working in India.

I'm in Indonesia. The update via itunes on my laptop still broken, but it's working on my iPhone

Error 5002 in France... and now reworking without changing anything...

After change the password to a strong one it worked for me. If you don't have a strong password, try change it.

I tried this as I couldn't login on both computers and iOS devices and it's working now. I hope it works for you.

Launch iTunes on your computer. From the iTunes menu bar click iTunes / Preferences then select the Advanced tab.

Click: Reset warnings and Reset cache.

Quit iTunes.

Try logging in to the iTunes store.

I also tried the "Reset Cache" as Carolyn Samit did as I could not sign in either. (on a MBP not iPad) Unfortunately that did not work for me.

I went the keychain First Aid route for my solution.

Keychain First Aid:

1. Open Keychain Access located in Applications/Utilities, then choose Keychain Access > Keychain First Aid.
2. Enter your user name and password. (for your mac, not itunes)
3. Select, Verify and click Start. Any problems found will be displayed.
4. If there are problems, select Repair and then click Start.

I hope that works for at least some of you.
