retreiving my songs

Bassically, long story cut shortmyitunes songs got lost from my computer when it rebooted. but i still had them on my ipod...until it got accidently put in the wash. my ipod doesnt work (the screens blank) but VERY rarely if i try to charge it on my dock it might play random songs and i hear podcasts all jumbled up. is there anyway possible some sort of electronic expert could retrieve my songs from the memory inside or something? like literally take it apart and get them from the memory?? i dont have these songs anywhere else and they are special to me.

(please please do not reply by saying, you can get your songs back from itunes because they werent bought there)
