How do I get back to the home page in the iPod app?

You people are great...and there is another great resource that was suggested to me yesterday, but which I just got to....the starter guide by MacWorld. That has almost all of the things I've struggled with: the little things that inexperienced users need; NOT the complicated things that Apple guides always have. And, the MacWorld guide is written for the user; not the techie wizard. I would have saved all of you a lot of time if I'd looked at this sooner.

To the person who said I seemed stressed out, you are so right. I've never had trouble with my mac or with technology. I'm the webmaster for a couple of organizations, but this iPad is another kettle of fish. The major problem is the poor user's manual....the beginning simple things should be in that book and then we can ask the more technical questions here AFTER we have a general idea of how it works. This is the first time I've tried to get by with an Apple manual....I've always bought a better one from Amazon. I've learned a lesson about that. Apple needs to hire a TEACHER to write than manual....not a tech specialist. I can tell you exactly what needs to be done so it's useable....but I'll save spare you that.

You definitely were saying the same thing as the others....every answer here was great. I'm sorry that it may have looked like I didn't recognize all of the responses as being excellent. But, that's also the problem: when everyone gives helpful and complete answers I forget to credit all of you. On this thread, you all get a "Correct Answer."

Roosevelt, you just caused my self-esteem to rise! I'm so glad someone else has some of the same issues I have, and, since you know what you're talking about with this iPad, I feel like I may not be as stupid as I was beginning to feel!
