I have 3 iPads used by multiple persons intended for totally different things.
One iPhone 4s has been stoel and was replaced with an android phone.
Yes i use the possibility to have multiple divices on my iPad account.
All apps from the stolen iPhohe still popup as apps to be updated on the iPads appstores.
All apps of iPad1 popup on the two other iPads making an "update all" impossible
Now there are 72 apps that i have to go through each time updates are signalled. I hate an app with numbers on the right corner telling me there are multiple messages. Now during my business presentations the customers are mildly mentioning that my iPad needs 'some' updates. That is not professional.
I would like to define what apps are on what device because i dont want the games of my kids popping up on my business iPad and vice versa.
Especially the kids have downloaded many many games they dont use anymore. They are getting older and their interests change frequently.
Another proposal would be a possibility to mark the apps you want to update, before the appstore application starts doing the upgrade. Now it does that immediately, the app is closed and i have to start it over, first i see the old list, then it refreshes for the new list after waiting several seconds and then i am back to the beginning of the list and i have to remember where i was in my very long list.
A simple checkmark at the beginning of the appstore application on the iPad would also work.
If that would be remembered within the list for the future and if that would also be device specific that would also do the trick to my opineon without interfering with any purchase lists.
