Sure, all you need is a word processing app. Pages is one to check out.
You can but I wouldn't do it for something that important. The iPad is a great device but it is not a replacement for a real computer. I like to joke that it's a "cheesy laptop."

Boy ... you really can't forgive Mr. Jobs for the whole Pages incompatiblity issue can you????
😉
I'm going to agree wiht Philly Phan here (and as a Reds fan, it pains me to do that)... I think the fine-tuned formatting to really make a quality resume would be hard to do on an iPad. However, the resumes I've seen recently haven't been as high-quality as I was taught to make them, so perhaps you could make one. 🙂
I am trying to find reasons to not buy an ipad. My computers are not that great right now either.
I think (and I hope) that Philly gets the little joke in my post!

Sure I did. 😁
My thinking was comparable to that of PP. The iPad Pages just doesn't have the flexibility of applications on true computers. Of course, knowing now that he's a Reds fan does disturb me.
Hold on a second here... Demo is the Steelers fan, I'm the Reds fan... not (as far as I know) the OP or anyone else here. But I'm sure all right-minded fans would be happy to cheer for the team from the birthplace of professional baseball in the states, not the town that had to steal Pete Rose and Tony Perez and Joe Morgan away from us to win a title...

Yeah, I was talking to Demo about you. I referred to you as PP.
Huh? Is there a problem with the software? I would probably add a comfortable Bluetooth keyboard if the OP plans to type in the source text from scratch.
I was thinking you were referring to PP as in PowerPoint, for some reason ... long day.
The formatting options on the various Word documents is just limited compared to that of a desktop, and I think it would be hard to get the precise formatting one should use in a resume... plus one wouldn't have the template gallery to draw on.
Certainly anyone can try it.. but if I were writing one right now, I wouldn't even try it on my iPad, I'd go right to the desktop.
The three of us are just having a little fun and went way OT. vazandrew answered the OP's question. He just has to come back and see the correct response.
Sorry Roosevelt.

You could try using Pages but you probably want to print the resume so you need an iPad compatible printer since Pages supports AirPrint.
iOS: AirPrint 101 <--- AirPrint supported printers.
Or you can email the document to yourself, open the document on your computer and print from there.
If you want to get way off-topic, check this out. It frustrates me that the iWeb application and the web hosting service in MobileMe will most likely be going away next year.
