Is there a recommened topic where yesterday's announce is being discussed? I don't get bashing something you charged a $100 subscription fee for. I think my .Mac web sites are still active so I doubt the web sites are going away.
Several things...
1. According to all available information, the new iCloud will not support web hosting.
2. In the description of the new Mac OS Lion, there is absolutely no reference whatever to the existence of iWeb.
3. MobileMe will go bye-bye on June 30, 2012 and, along with it, so will my web site. Below is the email that I received yesterday.
Finally, yesterday's announcement is all over Apple's web site. You'd need to work hard to miss it.

My further points would be speculation. I would only add that, user to user, I do no think Apple will act irrationally in this case. I got the emails also. My view is that are many things that Apple did not cover during the presentation.
I was thinking the discussion I was asking about would be off the Apple web site.
Back to the original question .. yes you can make a resume on an iPad. There's an app for that. Mine. 🙂

There are other apps as well - that's kind of the direction software is going on the iPad. Rather than using a general purpose tool, find a tool purpose-built for the job you're trying to do. There probably is one.
Pages is great as well, but using one of the dedicated resume apps means you don't have to worry as much about formatting. If you want precise control over the formatting, go with a word processor, but if you're willing to let an app handle it, look at something like Resume Designer. Check the website to see a sample of the the final product and if you're happy with that, then the app is for you.
(It got some bad reviews for a bug that has since been fixed, so the current rating is lower than the app deserves - unfortunately there's no way to mark a review as "no longer relevant").
