I just accepted an upgrade on my iphoto and lost most of my photos. How can I get them back?
I just accepted an upgrade for iphoto while I was using it and lost most of my photos? Is there a way to get them back?

What are you using for backup? Time Machine or something else?
Also, look under "More Like This" over on the right of this page for similar discussions.
Thank Roger. It worked.

Great!
Time machine. Went back to c=when it worked last and now I can't update old version as it has error saying I have updated version. THE UPDATED VERSION DOESN'T HAVE MY O;D STUFF. I HAD THOUSANDS OF PHOTOS. TAGGED AND ORGANIZED THAT TOOK A LONG TIME TO DO. THIS UPGRADE IS VERYY DISPOINTING FOR AN APPLE PRODUCT. THIS REMINDS ME OF WINDOWS STUFF I LEFT.
Been there and done that. Not the same as the old version. When I upgraded there was an error. Probably too many photos. Now when I pull up the old one it says I have a newer version and it wont let me open the old version that had all my photos.
Hi I have upgraded to yosermite and now find my Iphoto needs to be upgraded but the apps store tells me I am in the wrong country, Spoke to Apple and was told that I had missed out an upgrade and would now have to wipe the disc, the rest of the programs work, Can anyone help?
