Has anyone built up an Orchestra Hit Sound using Gargeband?

Hi there

Even with Jampacks I see that Garageband is missing the great 1980s "Orchestra/Orchestral Hit" sound.

I was just wondering if anyone had managed to make up the sound either by creating it on one track or by combining tracks together and would like to offer

their solution?

Please note that I am not interested in users advising to use different programs, or downloading sounds from the internet, I want it from a pure Garageband source.

Many thanks!

There are quite a few great orchestra hit sounds, but many come in packs of others, and some of them aren't free. They aren't a hassle to find on Google. In fact, I think one of the "boldt" packs has one, just look it up. Unfortunately, most of the other boldt sounds aren't very good.

But while we're on the topic of this, GarageBand is missing quite a few great instruments in addition to the orchestra hit. An Apple-made contrabassoon, bass clarinet, melodica, theremin, harmonica, vibraphone, duduk, and flugelhorn would all be wonderful additions, as would a bunch of other common instruments that I'm blanking on right now. I really hope Apple is working on this.
